The course is over
On Friday (yesterday) we had a small farewell party because it was the last day of the intensive course. By the way, we're taking the DSH exam on Wednesday, fingers crossed!
After having lessons from 9 to 11, the teacher left us alone so that we could prepare the party. We had bought some snacks and drinks and some people had even cooked or baked something. Apart from that, we all gave some money to buy a present for the teachers - a huge frame with pictures of the group, which we all signed. Both teachers were really lovely, chatting with us and wishing us luck for the test.
I have to admit that I'm sad that this course is over. People were, generally, very nice and I feel that I've improved a lot. Actually, while I was signing up for the exam, the teachers told me that they were very happy to see that I had managed to overcome my shyness little by little.
Well, anyways, this post is just an excuse to show some pics of the group (thanks to Marili for giving them to me)
It's a bit small, but anyways... From left to right and from front to back: Svetlana (Russia), Jingyi (China), Kira (Russia), Narmina (Azerbaijan), Anna (Poland), one of the teachers, Tai Wen (China), Hermágores (Venezuela), Marili (Argentina), Negar (Iran), me, Crstian (Chile), Rachel (England), Rowland (Nigeria), Katja (Belarus) and Xi (China).
This one is a bit better to see... not all of us are there though. From back to front and from left to right: Hermágores (Venezuela), Anna (Poland), Tai Wen (China), Stavros (Greece), Cristian (Chile), Xi (China), me, Rachel (England), Annuska (Finland), Ah-young (Korea / Ireland) and Marili (Argentina).
