Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this
Here I am... well, one week later and without pics, but with many news to tell you. It's been a really busy time.
First and foremost... I'M FINALLY 21!!!

My real birthday was last sunday (October 5th), but I celebrated it on Saturday. The party was fantastic and I got some of the best presents I could have ever had - my first birthday outside Spain, friends and love. Apart from that, I got lots of chocolate, a funny book in German, many nice cards, a poster of Homer Simpson (I really needed something to put on my wall), a CD with pics and videos of me and my friends and a key ring. We met at my place to have dinner together (some pizzas) and then we went to a karaoke bar (of course!) There was too much smoke and as many technical problems as usual, so it was probably the worst part of the birthday. Then we went to a disco... but only three of us (actually, the only three that are always in the mood for parties), for the rest were already tired and not in the mood after the karaoke bar. Anyways, the music in the disco was brilliant and we had a great time there ;) Two days later, on Monday, I got a package from my family with some other presents - a dress, a belt and a t-shirt painted by my sister. Really lovely! Marco came to visit me on this occasion, so we spent the whole weekend together. We took advantage of it to travel around a little bit. He arrived on Thursday evening and on Friday we visited the Frankenwarte tower, from which you could see the whole Würzburg. Unfortunately, it was not as nice as we expected, since the windows were very dirty and there was no way to open them. Then we visited some beautiful and inspiring rococo gardens in the village of Vietshöchheim (or something like that, in any case, an unpronounciable name) and had linner there. But the biggest trip was on Saturday, before my birthday party. He had to visit a flat in Regensburg (aka. Ratisbonne) and we took advantage of that to visit the Walhalla Hall of Fame and Honour, a monument which was built on behalf of Julius I, the king of Bavaria, in order to awake national pride in German people (well, at that time this included Austria, Switzerland, Poland and the Netherlands). It was very beautiful, even though there were many people there I didn't know. When I get the pictures, I'll give you some more information about it.
And now, the other big piece of news... As many of you might already know, on October 1st we took a test called DSH, which allows you to study a degree in a German university if you pass it. There are three different levels (four if you count Fail) you can reach: - DSH-1: more than 57% You're allowed to study certain degrees (especially Sciences) or in certain colleges. - DSH-2: more than 67% Minimal level to study in certain univesities, including the University of Würzburg. - DSH-3: more than 82% Highest level you can reach, which allows you to study in any German university. We got our results on Wednesday... can you guess what I got? DSH-3!!!
Of course, I don't think I even need to say that I already celebrated it! :) .
