Aka. "Destination Anywhere", "The Boy and Girl from County Bavaria"... After a very intense year in Würzburg (Germany), I'm back in Salamanca. I probably won't have that many experiences to write, but there's always an excuse to post a new entry!

Ok, I know this is feckin' random and that this is not a gossip blog, but there's something I need to let out. A couple of minutes ago, I've found out that one of my childhood crushes idols got married... about half a year ago. I don't know whether I'm more shocked to have found out so late (hell, I'm a fangirl by nature! I have to know everything about my idols!) or simply by the fact that she did get married - which no-one ever expected.

Oops, sorry I haven't mentioned who I'm talking about yet. Well, those of you who know me will know that I used to be totally obsessed with The Corrs when I was about 12 (and it lasted for a few years). Nowadays, although I've moved on to different types of music, there's a part deep down in me that still considers herself to be a 'hardcorr' fan (bad pun, I know). And if you know that I used to be a huge fan of this band, you'll surely know that Andrea used to be my favourite... and she's the one you can see in this pic.

Even at risk of being called shallow, there's a thing that bothers me - how could a cutie like her end up marrying such an ugly, bald guy? Ok, he's a millionaire, but still...

This, in turn, makes me see some parallelisms between her and my current crush musical obsession - Sharon den Adel. For those of you who don't know her by the name, the lead singer of Within Temptation.

The guy (also bald, by the way) you can see in the picture is her long-time partner Robert Westerholt, Within Temptation's guitarist. They have two kids together. *sigh* At least he seems pretty cool according to the interviews I've seen and can play guitar...

Some years ago, there was a time when I, for some reason, always hated my friends' boyfriends. Probably I never thought they were good enough for them. Now, when I see this, the little, obsessive fangirl in me can't help dying a little bit on the inside...
