Aka. "Destination Anywhere", "The Boy and Girl from County Bavaria"... After a very intense year in Würzburg (Germany), I'm back in Salamanca. I probably won't have that many experiences to write, but there's always an excuse to post a new entry!

I was planning on doing some free-writing just to let it all out. However, all that would come from me today would probably depress everyone to death and be completely nonsensical. So... I've decided to post something I wrote to cheer myself up in a certain situation, which is also some sort of free-writing. Hope you like it.

I stepped out of the window; suddenly the world was different. A thousand stars... they call me and drag me towards them. The chains have been broken. I have to let go of them. Now there's just me and the universe. A brand new universe that stays wide open. You are free... just enjoy it. There's nothing to be afraid of. It's all yours. Nothing matters anymore. There's no reason to suffer. The days will be long, but time will be your own. Look on the bright side, see everything under a different light. Hope. Breathe in. Breathe out. You're not dead. And you don't need that. Isn't this what you wanted all along? Somewhere she'll be waiting for you. Now it's the moment to find her. Wake up. Open up. The pain will go. In fact, there's no pain. It's all in your head. If you just stop listening, the silence will guide you. Life sorts itself out. Life will put you to your place. Poetic justice perhaps. You'll find your rest. This is your liberation. Maybe one day you'll come back, who knows. Or maybe not. But be sure there's something waiting for you outside. Love will be somewhere, out there for you. Believe in yourself. You're the unfading one. Your hope is your biggest strength. Just feel it. You're gonna be alright. Whatever it takes. It's not like you didn't even know. There's no blood anymore. The pain will go away. The life within might go away, too. New beginnings await. The song already said it - a new beginning always starts at the end. The mask will fall. The ice will break. Sulingth will come back inside. You will survive. This time there'll be no-one to save you - because you'll save yourself. You know you will. You can play a new role. The new age is about to begin. New discoveries to find. Let go of the bitterness; keep your heart pure. That's the true hero in you. Dry your tears. Go to sleep now. Tomorrow is a new day. The first day of the rest of your life. THis is not you. You're the one who knows that there's always a light, even in the deepest hole you've ever been. You're the one who never gives up. Heart, soul and mind - all three in one. Stand up. Release yourself. The emptiness is not that empty; there's always more than meets the eye. Just accept it. Don't be afraid. Don't shut anything out. Don't rule anything out. Just let the journey begin, with no fear of getting lost. You'll find a new direction. You're not the same as before. Every crisis leads to evolution. Go with the wind, and embrace every change. Let the adventure begin. Look at the fear in the eyes. Stand your ground. Be strong. Be free. The sun will shine again. And may Destiny be on your side, always. Shine.
